Jenny Karlsson
I'm from Sweden but have lived in Scotland since 1997. I learnt to drink whisky at the Bowbar in Edinburgh with the help of two Swedish friends that are whisky enthusiasts. I attended the brewing and distilling degree at Heriot Watt University (I ended up changing to a more food based degree 2 years in, but for two years I was studying Brewing and Distilling). During the weekends and on my holidays I worked in a whisky shop in Edinburgh, and developped a love for non chill filtred whiskies such as Springbank (it is true, I always loved Springbank even before I started working here) and when this job came up I had to go for it. I am part of a 3 man sales and marketing team at Springbank Distillers. We are based at the Distillery and we have great interaction with the production on daily basis. I love my job!!!
